Syntegon IDH is the revolution for intelligent, product gentle, flexible, and compact product handling in your packaging process. Thanks to the IDH’s high degree of flexibility, it can handle a variety of pack styles, production volumes, product shapes or sizes. Cookies and crackers are picked directly from the conveyor belt and placed into trays or the infeed of the downstream flow-wrapping machine either on-edge or flat. Product or format changes between slug and pile configurations are quick and easy – all at the push of a button.
With its sophisticated overall concept, the Syntegon IDH makes the packaging process less complex, minimizes conveying distances and reduces product breakage. Linear motor technology allows for precise control: the IDH’s pickers place products directly from the processing belt into trays or onto intelligent infeed modules for flow-wrappers. Their smooth acceleration and low vacuum application ensure that the biscuits, cookies and crackers make it from the oven to packaging in one piece leaving no crumbs behind.
