Hugo Vuurens (MBA Lausanne, MSc Delft) started his career at DSM and
after various companies he joined Corbion (later Total-Corbion PLA) in 2010 to develop PLA bioplastic
applications in the market. In 2022 het joined CJ Biomaterials where he is active as Vice President of
business development for the PHA business that CJ has built from the Metabolix heritage.
