Conveyor belts and belt-driven conveyor systems
Conveyor belts and toothed belts offer the solution for easy transport of various goods. This way your product flow can be optimized quickly and easily. The modular transport systems can be flexibly used for an efficient adaptation of your current system or for expansion. Our experienced engineers can offer you informal advice or draw the solution you need. Your lead time and satisfied customers are our responsibility. Using standard components, we offer transport systems based on conveyor belt or cog belt. We also distribute special belts such as vacuum belts, telescopic belts, mesh belts, troughed belts, belt conveyors,… Thanks to our kinking, rising and curving belts, the trajectory can be flat or with rising and falling sections, and may contain bends. The structures are designed in aluminium or stainless steel.

Conveyors
The conveyor belt is an indispensable part of the production line for the internal transport of products. Zomerdijk Engineering supplies separate conveyor belts, but mainly conveyor belts that are used to connect machines. Based on the wishes of the customer, a layout drawing is made and how much conveyor belt is required is calculated. Zomerdijk conveyor belts are supplied as standard with PFX belts, these are low-friction conveyor belts in the characteristic orange.

The smallest remnants of metal, glass or plastic are detected by our systems and ejected. Only fully inspected and approved products leave your production line.

Counting machine
Van Rijn supplies various solutions for counting your product. The purpose of the counting machine is that these no longer have to be counted by hand. This eliminates a lot of manual work and increases the reliability of the production process. Everything between 5 and 200 millimeters can be counted by the machine. For example: - Sachets - Trays - Cosmetics - Buckets - Tablets - Pills The sachets can be transported to the counting machine via a conveyor belt, by hand or in some other way. The sachets are counted using infrared technology. When the desired number of sachets is reached, a pneumatic slide opens, allowing the correct number of sachets to fall to the next step in the production process. This is also indicated by an audible signal. The counting machine has the following features: - Adjustable from 1 to 9999 number of sachets per batch - Sound signals when the set number is reached - A counting range from 5mm to 200mm - Voltage 230 volts-50 Hz

Counting Scale WSE-Touch
The WSE-Touch counting scale is a versatile counting and bench scale for quickly and accurately counting items. Thanks to its robust stainless steel housing and color touchscreen display, the scale is suitable for intensive daily use in a variety of work environments. The standard counting firmware offers extensive functions for totaling and inventory, among other things. Items can be easily counted using a preset weight or by creating a manual sample, for example, by placing a number of items on the scale. The number of items is immediately visible on the clear graphic display, whose layout is fully customizable. The WSE-Touch is designed with ease of use and flexibility in mind. The internal rechargeable battery provides an operating time of approximately 40 hours, and the ergonomic handles make the scale easy to move. The removable stainless steel weighing platform and smooth housing make cleaning quick and easy. Non-slip adjustable feet and an integrated spirit level ensure stable and accurate weighing. For integration into existing systems, the WSE-Touch features extensive I/O capabilities, including multiple RS232 ports, a Modbus RTU interface, and connections for printers, PCs, PLCs, barcode readers, or badge readers. The WSE-Touch-P models are equipped with a built-in receipt printer. The scale is not commercially approved as standard, but is CE-approved as an option. This legal approval applies only to weight readings, not to quantity determination. The WSE-Touch combines speed, flexibility, and robust construction into a practical solution for counting, recording, and inventory.

The NVC Course Programme in Packaging, courses and workshops are Live Online or Live Hybrid. In both cases, business students can participate from any location worldwide with an adequate internet connection. If the lessons are Live Hybrid, students can choose to be physically present at the location of the lesson.

CP 201 Casepacker
CP 201 Casepacker. The CP 201 casepacker system provides for automatically positioning and filling of bags into cartons and or crates in programmable patterns. At the in-feed the bags are centred and whether or not turned for the correct packing patterns. After going trough the turning unit the bags are presented, turned or not, to the collection belt. On this collection belt, a preset number of bags (controlled by the menu settings) can be accumulated (with or without partial overlap) They are then introduced to the case packer unit itself, which is equipped with pneumatic drop doors and a bag in-feed unit. This in-feed unit is equipped with two vertical conveyors belts, that are adjustable in width to reduce the volume of the passing bags during transfer to the drop doors. The vertical belts can also move left and right. Thus deposit rows of bags in different positions on the drop doors in order to pack more rows per layer in the cartons. During loading the case is vibrated according to the menu so that the volume of the bags in the case further reduced. The CP 201 case packer line can be extend with many options which makes the line complete to product and customer demands.

The retract conveyor placed the bags at the bomb doors. Overlap in length and width is possible to create a optimum products in the product carrier. The bomb doors are servo driven which means a quick and controlled movement. After opening of the bomb doors the products will be placed in the product carrier. Multiple layers can also be placed in the product carrier. The product carrier vibrates during loading (option), so that an optimum degree of filling will be reached. The product carrier can be turned for more packing patterns.

CP 301 Casepacker
CP 301 Casepacker. This system loads automatically bags into cases or crates. The bags are divided at the in-feed with a swivel conveyor and positioned on the retract conveyor. The retract conveyor placed the bags at the bomb doors. Overlap in length and width is possible to create a optimum products in the product carrier. The bomb doors are servo driven which means a quick and controlled movement. After opening of the bomb doors the products will be placed in the product carrier. CP Compact Casepacker.
CP Compact Casepacker. This system loads automatically bags into cases or crates. The bags are forwarded on an in-feed conveyor. On the in-feed conveyor the bags can be turned (option). The bags are collected, until a complete row is formed of one or more bags. The bags can also overlap which result in an optimum product dividing grade in the product carrier. Then the complete row is forwarded to the bomb doors. A compression plate closes the formation. A side compression of the bag formation, consisting of two vertical conveyors above the bomb doors with manual adjustment is also possible (option).The bomb doors open and the bags will be placed in the product carrier. Multiple layers can also be placed in the product carrier. The product carrier vibrates during loading (option), so that an optimum degree of filling will be reached.
