LEAF
LEAF is specifically developed to produce paper bags out of 100% recyclable and compostable paper mono material. LEAF has a revolutionary design and is constructed out of stainless steel and other recyclable materials. LEAF is partly built out of recycled OCEAN PLASTIC, thus helping to reduce plastic waste. Together with the open construction for optimized accessibility, it makes the machine very easy to clean and maintain. LEAF excels in optimized sealing pressure, paper handling and tracking. It has a special former set and is equipped with an in-line mesh applicator to produce bags with a netting behind the window. With its large range in pack sizes (190 mm up to 400 mm bag width) and a capacity up to 25 bags per minute, LEAF is the perfect machine for all paper applications. In the standard configuration it produces both pillow and stand up bags. The modular construction guarantees that each module can be exchanged within minutes. Leak control
Do you want to check your product packaging for leakage? Then our leak control systems are the right solution. Our machines from FT System are an in-line seal control system that checks whether your products contain a leak. If so, they will be ejected or marked as 'defective'. This way, defective products never reach your customers. Laser spectrophotometry technology These systems use laser spectrophotometry technology (gas sensors). If there are holes or micro-holes in the package and/or seal, any CO2 leaking from the package, the system detects leaks without changing the line speed and/or the internal composition of the modified atmosphere. Thus, defective product packaging never leaves the line. Leak control of MAP packaging With the specific LDS700-IoT leak control system from FT System it is possible to inspect your products in MAP packaging up to 200μ for leakage. These products are packed with low oxygen content, or: MAP-packaged (Modified Atmosphere Packaging). Gases are then introduced inside the packaging, which means that food spoils more slowly than when packaging with normal air. When defects, no matter how small, are detected by this system, the product is rejected and possibly ejected.

Package Leak Detection / Leak Testing system using a water-based bubble leak test. LEAK-MASTER® EASY allows the detection even of the smallest of leaks in packages and a seal integrity test. After the package is placed into the test chamber filled with water, the head space above the water level is evacuated. This is done with the help of a compressed air operated Venturi nozzle (optionally also with electric vacuum pump). Thus, the package immersed in the water inflates, allowing any leaks and their location to be identified by a stream of bubbles.
