To reduce waste, it is good to focus on recyclable materials such as paper, PE and PP. These are more easily separated during recycling and can thus be reused as raw materials for other products. Bastin-Pack also produces compostable packaging. Both industrial and home OK compost packaging must comply with the EN13432 standard. Tape machines Taping is the application of an adhesive tape on, for example, a box or other surface. Packaging tape can be applied manually, with a table dispenser or with a tape machine. A hand-dispenser is often used for manually applying tape. This is simple, mobile and inexpensive. It is easier, however, to work with a table dispenser. The cutting length of the adhesive tape can be set in advance, so that the correct length is always dispensed and automatically cut. This results in a saving of tape and time. With an automatic tape machine it is possible to close thousands of packages per day.

Hygiene is the highest priority in meat production and processing – a requirement that is perfectly ensured by the completely closed plastic pallets of Craemer's TC series. For absolutely reliable load securing, all models within the TC range are now optionally available with a full-surface Palgrip® anti-slip deck. Equipped with Palgrip®, the TC pallet is up to meet all the challenges in the meat industry. The completely closed, fully anti-slip coated top deck and the smooth lower deck of the TC Palgrip® boast excellent cleaning properties. In addition, the cavity- and rib-free construction of the robust and durable hygiene pallet offers reliable protection against contamination or water ingress. The unique Palgrip® anti-slip coating, like the pallet itself, is made of high-quality polyethylene and is firmly bound to the pallet in a one-step production process. After reaching the forming station, the blank will be stamped through the adjustable forming unit; the sides of the tray will be simultaneous pressed on 4 sides.
