    3. Kubo – The Four-Way Box For Heavy Weights

Kubo – The Four-Way Box For Heavy Weights

In the automotive industry, a smooth internal material flow is one of the essential factors for efficient production. The Craemer Group is one of the leading international automotive suppliers with its large-scale production of metal automotive modules and plastic load carriers. To ensure smooth (intra-)logistics in the industry, the plastics pioneer is launching a new development: Kubo, a robust four-way box made of high-quality polyethylene (PE) as an alternative to the metal grid box (gitterbox). Founded in 1912, the Craemer Group specialises in metal forming, plastics processing (since 1958) and toolmaking. In addition to its headquarters in Germany, the company operates three other production sites in Europe. Craemer's expertise in the automotive industry has also been applied to the development and production of transport and storage boxes and other logistics solutions made of robust PE using injection moulding. The latest innovation is the Kubo – the perfect alternative to the Europool-DB-Europool Gitterbox (Gibo) often used for heavy goods and components and for all applications with high demands. The new Craemer PE box has many advantages over the steel frame grid design: It is lightweight and robust, easy to empty, clean and dry, guaranteed corrosion-free, highly resilient, versatile and stackable, can be pooled and repaired and, thanks to its closed walls, also protects sensitive vehicle components.

    4. L-Sealers

      L-Sealers

L-Sealers are known for the great flexibility with which various product sizes may be wrapped. Whether or not in combination with a Shrink Tunnel, you will be able to quickly and easily wrap your products. Besides the standard sealing sizes (400 x 500 mm, 500 x 600 mm and 600 x 800 mm) we are able to supply a sealing window that is specially designed for your product size. The extensive option packages make the L-Sealers extra-appealing. Think, for example, of the twin system, the automatic conveyor system, the electrically operated sealing window, the continuously heated sealing system or the automatic winding system for the residual strip. L-Sealers are very suitable for use both with and without a Shrink Tunnel. For example, it is possible to only wrap a product in film, or to make flexible use of several types of L-Sealers in combination with a single Shrink Tunnel. After all, all AVC L-Sealers are fitted with swivel castors. The type of L-Sealer to be selected depends on the preferred maximum product size. As with the AVC Combiset and the Minicombiset, the sealing window comes with a magnetic seal. The sealing window is automatically opened by a gas spring after sealing, which offers the advantage that the next packaging may already be prepared in the meantime. This results in a higher production speed. While all models are developed in series, in every individual case the machine may be fitted with the options offered by us, or can be designed in a different size. This way, we can always offer you a custom-made solution.

    5. LA-1000 Lid Applicator

      LA-1000 Lid Applicator

The design of the machine incorporates the latest developments in lid application. It is an extremely user-friendly machine, which is simple to adjust. From a horizontal magazine a blank is taken with vacuum and put in position. Four snap-lock grippers transport the blank to the forming head position. During the transfer a very accurate timing of the glue injection is achieved on the short flaps. At the same time the long sides of the incoming tray/case are glued during transport to the lid application station. After reaching the lid application station the blank will be picked up and when the filled tray/case is in the right position below, the controlled movement will go downwards to the top of the tray/case. In that position the 4 flaps will be folded 90° against the tray. The folding unit will go back to the upper position and the tray with glued lid will exit the machine over the conveyor belt.

    7. Labelling machine System 5/2 / Automatic labellingmachine

Labelling machine System 5/2 / Automatic labellingmachine

The System 5 series includes a range of labelling systems for the application on one side, or two sides (recto/verso) of elliptical and quadrangular bottle and products. Labelling systems are fully automatic labelling machines with an integrated conveyor system; they are self-sufficient small labelling lines providing for conveying, handling and labelling. They can therefore be used both offline or connected to other packaging machines (e.g. filling machines). Automatic labelling systems for recto/verso application are ideal for labelling of elliptical or quadrangular jars, bottles, products and vessels made of plastic, glass, tin for the food, chemical , cosmetic market. The series of Systems 5 provides different models, depending on production needs, the equipment of alarms and controls. The systems provide different production speeds, in standard, customized or tailor-made configurations. The modular design allows fitting, on a main machine body a variety of labelling machines of different width and speed, as well as a wide range of ancillary devices that complete the main functions providing for application on 1 side, on 2 sides (recto-verso) combined with top, bottom or tamper-evident , wrap-around labelling (with DRP device).
