Unroll, press or blow off labels on your packaging

P&A systems print information on labels and apply them directly to your packaging. The carrier, either the packaging of your product or the surface of the label to be applied, determines how a label can best be applied: unroll, press or blow off.

Unroll or press labels onto your packaging
When the carrier is flat, it is best to choose ‘unroll’ or ‘press’. With a normal flat packaging, unrolling the label onto the carrier is the simplest and correct way to apply it. ‘Pressing’ is the best option when the wearer also has other obstacles, such as raised edges.

Blow off labels if the surface is not flat
When the surface or packaging is not flat, for example with meat or vegetable packaging, blown-off labels are increasingly used. The unrolled labels are first sucked in and then blown off onto the carrier with considerable pressure. This is done with the highest speed and accuracy. Whether you work with blank or partly pre-printed labels, your production can always continue without any delay.

Smart automation
The OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of production lines is becoming increasingly important. In addition to machine reliability, an efficient production process also requires smart deployment of automation. We are happy to realize this combination for you with Smart Software Solutions. From standard label software to custom control of all your coding and labeling equipment across multiple production lines with database links and validation processes.
