One of the most popular robots in this sector are the delta robots. The latest addition to the FANUC DR-3iB delta robot series is the stainless steel version; DR-3iB/6 STAINLESS.
The new DR-3iB/6 STAINLESS was specially designed to help customers maximise their efficiency in fast picking and packaging of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products in particular. The four-axis delta robot has a reach of 1200 mm (450 mm height) and a powerful design, allowing it to handle a payload of 6 kg at high speeds. The robot is IP69K rated, with a fully enclosed stainless steel housing that can withstand the chemicals and high pressure/temperatures required in strict wash-down environments typical of the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.
