As a Vision Engineer you are responsible for designing and implementing optical systems that can generate images and other types of data. You develop Halcon algorithms and/or AI models to convert this data into usable numbers for our customers. To create an optical design, you take the customer’s wishes and requirements as a starting point. You select suitable hardware such as cameras, lenses and lighting. You build the Machine Vision setups in our EKB Vision Lab and at the customer’s location, and you carry out extensive tests to validate the performance.

In addition to the technical work, you are also the link between colleagues and customers. You have regular consultations to coordinate the progress of the work.

As an Electrical Engineer you work with a close-knit team at the heart of control technology installations. Based on your own design, you prepare material lists that must be ordered for production. Thanks to the knowledge of the design you have made yourself, you are the source of information for our technicians and you remain involved in the internal final inspection of the cabinet. This way your design comes to life and it is delivered with a correct drawing package.

Your energy comes into its own in a team. While performing your tasks, you demonstrate a high degree of independence, flexibility and accuracy. You always strive to achieve high quality.

Together with the Software Engineer and the Project Manager, you form the team that ensures that the customer’s installation can be commissioned on time. This is often an exciting process, during which you together ensure that the project is delivered properly.

As a Software Engineer PCS7 you are the driving force behind PLC control solutions for industrial machines and processes of our customers. Based on functional specifications, you design the necessary software to use the process or production line as efficiently as possible. You carry out extensive functionality testing (FAT/SAT) to ensure quality and performance and remain involved until on-site commissioning.

Together with the Electrical Engineer and the Project Manager, you form the team that ensures that the customer’s installation can be commissioned on time. This is often an exciting process, during which you work together to deliver the project properly. Throughout the project you will maintain close contact with the customer to ensure that their expectations are exceeded, and you will also regularly report to the Project Manager on progress.

As a Vision System Engineer you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Technical Lead Engineer, specialized in custom Vision Systems.

During the start of the project, you coordinate the scope with the customer together with the Project Manager. You document this in internal and external documentation. Together with your colleagues, you devise and build the solution that best suits the customer’s needs. In our Vision lab you test whether what you have devised together with the rest of the team also works in practice. You also test whether this corresponds to the customer’s requirements and wishes. Not only the lab setup but also the production system is largely developed with your supervision. You correctly document customer wishes and requirements, design documentation, interface documentation with other parties, FAT and SAT documents.

As a Lead Software Engineer you provide direct guidance to an enthusiastic project group in the field of software. You assess your team’s creations on functionality and quality and you dare to make decisions about the technical approach to a project.

You are also responsible for drawing up operating manuals and developing FAT and SAT protocols. You are the bridge between technology and customer, where your communication skills are invaluable. Your creative mind turns functional specifications, operating manuals and protocols into works of art.
