The new PaperSeal® Shape, patented and designed by Graphic Packaging International, is a round tray made from paperboard and a liner where a modified atmosphere is used to maintain a product’s shelf life. PaperSeal® Shape incorporates up to 90% less plastic compared to standard plastic trays. The tray delivers great rigidity thanks to the double-flange construction and is ideal for graphics to be printed on both the internal and external surface.
The liner can be easily separated from the cardboard, allowing 100% recyclability of the paperboard. On top of that, the trays are fully compatible with the 4evergreen guidelines. Whether the consumer manually separates the paper from the cardboard or not, this sustainable packaging will always be perfectly recycled. Not to mention the fact that the cardboard is made from sustainably managed forests.
