This machine fully automatically wraps pallets which are fed on the pallet roller conveyor under the wrapper. The wrapper consists of a 4-column steel frame to which a slewing ring is mounted on a rotation arm. The rotary arm is equipped with a cutting device with a sealing unit that secures the film after it has been cut. This prevents the problem of loose foil ends.
The film clamp clamps the film and after the preset number of wraps, the cutting device cuts the film to the desired length.
The wrapping machine is equipped with a driven ‘pre-stretch’ unit that can give a pre-stretch of up to ± 350% on the film. This can result in significant savings on the annual use of stretch film and it also results in a nice, tight end result that radiates quality.
The pallet height is sensed with a photocell that automatically stops the wrapper, the number of top and bottom wraps is freely adjustable.
In the unlikely event that the film tears, an automatic film break detection is provided, which stops the wrapper in case of breakage and turns it to its starting position.
