De Scancheck-machine is ontwikkeld voor het automatisch controleren van barcodes op traysealen topseal-producten. Met een capaciteit tot 160 producten per minuut waarborgt het systeem een snelle en betrouwbare controle. Afgekeurde producten worden via een luchtmes zachtjes van de lijn geblazen, zonder schade aan de verpakking. Zo blijft de productkwaliteit behouden en kunnen afgekeurde items eenvoudig opnieuw in de lijn worden ingevoerd. Het systeem is ontworpen voor integratie in een productielijn met een traysealer. De omsteltijd is minimaal. De capaciteit bedraagt ongeveer 150 producten per minuut, afhankelijk van product en barcode. De bandsnelheid is instelbaar tussen 25 en 45 meter per minuut. Alle schalen dienen bij voorkeur met de korte zijde leidend (SEL) over de transportband te worden aangevoerd. Flowpacks vereisen nadere afstemming en zijn afhankelijk van het producttype. Het systeem is uitgerust met twee Datalogic-barcodescanners die zowel 1D- als 2D-codes lezen, zoals EAN, QR en Datamatrix. Een Siemens PLC met Weintek-touchscreen maakt bediening en receptwissels eenvoudig. Operators kunnen instellingen zoals bandsnelheid, scannervertraging en uitwerptiming snel aanpassen.
