To reduce waste, it is good to focus on recyclable materials such as paper, PE and PP. These are more easily separated during recycling and can thus be reused as raw materials for other products. Bastin-Pack also produces compostable packaging. Both industrial and home OK compost packaging must comply with the EN13432 standard. Can we live without plastic? Let’s get straight to the point: it is unlikely that plastics/stretch film will ever be replaced by another, similar material. Stretch film is strong, easy & practical to use, inexpensive, offers maximum load security when used properly, optimal protection against weather influences/UV of the secondary packaging.
