The Packaging Woman of the Netherlands
Empack Netherlands and the NVC Packaging Centre proudly launch Verpakkingsvrouw Nederland. This new initiative shines a spotlight on female professionalism within the packaging sector, thereby stimulating the sustainable strengthening of the field. The initiators are partly inspired by the SAGE (Sustainable Ageing) movement, which focuses on a sustainably growing society.

Who can become Packaging Woman of the Netherlands?
Any woman with Dutch nationality or employed by a company established in the Netherlands and with at least one year of experience in a packaging position may apply or be nominated. A committee of leading female professionals assesses the candidates.
After the announcement
In the year following her appointment as Packaging Woman of the Netherlands, the nominee will have the opportunity to contribute to the further development of female professionalism in packaging in the Netherlands and abroad. In doing so, she will be supported, where she wishes, by the Empack team and the NVC Packaging Centre:
- Free access to all NVC association activities, training, courses, and workshops.
- A platform during the next edition of Empack.
- Access to all European packaging trade fairs from Easyfairs.
Subsequently, Packaging Woman of the Netherlands will take a seat on the Committee for the appointment of her successor.
