Packaging lines with integrated robot(s)
We specialise in the design, implementation and delivery of packaging lines, using robots as a central technology. The packaging lines are completely custom designed for you, so that the robot line fits into your existing production line.
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)
Our Automated Guided Vehicles are perfect for automating your logistical processes. From material handling and pallet transport to supplying production lines. The vehicles are fully designed and developed in-house. After they underwent a makeover, KV-Techniek launched the self-driving forklifts under the brand GO, The AGV Company. There are three standard models: - AGV Donkey (lift capacity: 1000 kg | lift height: 1600 mm) - AGV Rhino (lift capacity: 2000 kg | lift height: 1400 mm) - AGV Giraffe (lift capacity: 1500 kg | lift height: 5000 mm) Do you have specific requirements? Then we are happy to work with you on a customised AGV. The AGVs have a few things in common: 1 Efficient - Our AGVs operate with automated commands, allowing them to continue working without interruption. This increases productivity and ensures a smooth logistics process. 2 Safe - Each vehicle is equipped with advanced sensors and signals to safely navigate through the environment. This reduces the risk of accidents and keeps the working environment safe. 3 Accurate - Repetitive tasks such as moving and stacking are performed with extreme precision, without any loss of performance. This ensures consistent quality, no matter how long they operate. 4 No structural modifications required - Our AGVs do not require floor markings or induction lines to find their way around. Palletising
A palletising robot offers the perfect solution for fast and accurate stacking of goods. Whether it is boxes, crates, bags or other packaged items, the robot ensures that everything is ready for storage or transport within a short time. This robotic solution increases efficiency and reduces the risk of human error. VERSATILE The robot is easy to adjust to different packaging shapes and sizes. Simply use our in-house developed software to add a new palletising pattern when product changes occur. The multifunctional gripper can also pick up intermediate sheets and pallets. FAST A robot can pick up several units simultaneously. So it is no problem to completely stack a pallet in a short time. Moreover, it ensures that the stack remains stable for transport. This makes it an efficient solution for a smooth flow of goods. Combined with roller conveyors and pallet warehouses, this process can continue 24/7.
Pick & Place
Pick & Place robots are designed for placing loose products in primary packaging. Using advanced vision technology, these robots can accurately locate and pick products. This robotic solution combines speed with precision and increases the reliability of the packaging process. COMPACT Pick & Place robots generally take up little space. Thus, a production line can be equipped with several robots, without compromising too much on workspace. FLEXIBLE It is an ideal solution for products arriving on a conveyor belt. The position is then variable, but thanks to the robot's flexibility, they can simply be picked up.
Case packing
A casepacking robot places packaged products into larger, secondary packaging. Manually, this is a time-consuming and repetitive task. By streamlining the process with a robot, a company can increase productivity. This robotic solution can be deployed unmanned and 24/7, without an increase in labour costs. ACCURATE Robots place products in secondary packaging in a quick but neat manner. This prevents product damage and increases the efficiency of the packaging process. It takes into account the most efficient layout to best fill a box, crate or tray. USER-FRIENDLY A case packer can handle different sizes and types of packaging. When necessary, our in-house developed software allows the operator to change the product data, after which the robot takes over these settings.
End-of-line solution: Palletiser and AGV
A robot palletiser combined with an AGV is the perfect end-of-line solution. The robot is fast and greatly increases productivity. Whether stacking boxes, crates, bags or trays. Thanks to its multifunctional gripper, the robot can pick up all kinds of goods. Is there a change in the packaging format? That is no problem either. The robot can easily be adjusted to new stacking layouts. After palletising, the loaded pallets go to the end of the line. From there, they are taken to the warehouse or prepared for transport. These repetitive, logistical processes can be carried out by Automated Guided Vehicles. The operator assigns tasks to the vehicle, upon which it takes the full pallets to the specified location and empty pallets to the palletiser. It results in an even more efficient and streamlined process.
