Cobots (collaborative robots) are increasingly being used to automate (your) production processes.
VIA Techniek has deployed a cobot for a customer and integrated it into a logistics system/machine.
The cobot unstacks books that have been sprayed with gold leaf, in collaboration with a linear actuator.
The cobot also performs an action with the books, which causes the pages to become separated, after which the processed books are stacked again on the discharge conveyor belt.
The cobot can process a wide range of book dimensions, which means that the customer’s production process is largely automated.
