    2. Makebright Laser

      Makebright Laser

MakeBright: a patented laser solution that allows direct coding on (corrugated) cardboard boxes, without ink, labels, or other consumables. While lasers were previously known primarily for their ''burned-in'' appearance, MakeBright technology enables near-white marking on (corrugated) cardboard, optionally combined with a dark (bar) code, text, or symbol. This requires no special coating on the cardboard. MakeBright works on both recycled cardboard and virgin material, brown or white. The market demands additive-free solutions purely for sustainability goals. Inline printing on boxes is increasing, which also leads to increased ink consumption, maintenance, and planned (or unplanned) downtime. A laser operates without consumables: no ink, no cartridges, no labels, and minimal maintenance.

    3. MAP EnhancerPad

      MAP EnhancerPad

More shelf life thanks to inert gas development Oxygen is a key factor in food spoilage, which is why many foods are packaged in a protective gas atmosphere to slow down bacterial growth and extend shelf life. In this respect, shielding gas is also an essential component for • improve food quality and shelf life, • to be able to dispense with preservatives, • reduce food waste and • improve the attractiveness of packaged products. However, meat and fish in particular also absorb part of the protective gas composition via their surface. This can lead to changes in the composition and a reduction in the volume of gas inside the packaging, causing it to collapse. This is precisely where the MAP EnhancerPad comes in, absorbing the released liquid and emitting additional protective gas to extend the shelf life and prevent the packaging from collapsing. At the same time, the MAP EnhancerPad makes it possible to reduce the volume of protective gas required, so that plastic packaging can also be significantly reduced in size, which has numerous positive effects. Convincing reasons for the MAP Enhancer Pad: • High absorption capacity thanks to SuperCore® cellulose - with additional superabsorber if required • Active production of CO2 on contact with released liquid • Longer shelf life due to active improvement of the protective atmosphere • Adaptation of the volume of CO2 released to the requirements of the packaged food product • Avoidance of collapsing packaging • More attractive packaging without free liquids • Significant reduction in packaging size and saving on plastic • Lower logistics costs in transportation and storage thanks to significantly smaller packaging

    4. Molded Fiber inlay

      Molded Fiber inlay

Inlays are an essential component of many food packaging applications, such as biscuits, chocolates and advent calendars. These inlays are often made from plastic, but with molded fiber, SFA Packaging offers a sustainable alternative. Tony’s Chocolonely’s advent calendar is a good example: both the inlay and the outer box are made from paper pulp and can therefore be recycled together in a single stream. This mono-material solution aligns fully with the European PPWR guidelines for 2030. Our cellulose-based packaging is safe for direct food contact, free from PFAS, and equipped with a moisture and grease barrier that helps keep products fresh for longer. Molded fiber is available in virgin or recycled pulp and provides a biodegradable alternative to plastic.

    6. ROVEMA Control Update P@ck-Control

      ROVEMA Control Update P@ck-Control

Keep existing machines in production sustainably by upgrading the control system. When is the best time to modernise your control system? Even after decades of usage, we can guarantee the supply of spare parts for many ROVEMA machines. However, a one-to-one exchange is not always the best solution, as electronic components in particular are developing rapidly. This is where risk and opportunity are close together – the risk of no longer being able to obtain obsolete components is offset by the chance to further develop your existing machine and raise it up to a modern control level. In order to avoid a short-term remedy that is not a permanent solution, it is important to plan such measures in advance to prevent a serious situation. We can offer you a non-binding consultation with a sensibly coordinated upgrade concept for the conversion of your control system to the newest generation of ROVEMA P@ck-Control. Your advantages: - Modern control for ERP and Internet connection, e.g. for remote support - Intuitive HMI with the latest safety technology - Energy-efficient servo motor drives - Open to the future for IOT or function extensions - Short downtime for machine upgrade

    7. Smart Vision

      Smart Vision

Prevent recalls with our even more comprehensive Smart Vision system! The Smart Vision System can automatically detect and reject packaging without a barcode or an unreadable barcode on the bottom. No (readable) barcode = no passage. 🔎 This, in addition to all the checks on the top of the packaging (OCR, label color, barcode, etc.), is one of the new smart checks our system uses to ensure maximum quality and reliability on your production line. Why choose Smart Vision? ✅ Scalable, affordable, and brand-independent ✅ Compact footprint and own emissions ✅ Seamless integration into existing lines ✅ Fewer errors, fewer recalls, smoother production

    8. Spider Palletising

      Spider Palletising

The Spider is a smart palletizing system. Fully engineered system with 20 years of evolution. The Spider is 90% standard. The Spider is supplied from 2 meters to 20 meters long, to palletise 15 lines with 1 Spider and possibly with several heads/shuttles. The Spider is modular, easy to operate, easy to maintain, quick to install and has an excellent price/quality ratio. - Easy to operate Spider Palletisser robot - Modular - Equipped with the latest safety standards The palletizing of the American folding boxes and display boxes on the pallet is done by the flexible portal robot “Spider”. The boxes are oriented and positioned at the input of the conveyor, so that the pick-up position has a fixed reference point. The pallet is also detected and aligned to a fixed reference point. As soon as a box formation is ready, the Spider picks up the boxes and stacks them on the pallet according to the entered pattern, this is repeated until the pallet is fully stacked. For certain pallet patterns or types of boxes, an slip sheet is required. For this purpose, an slip sheet magazine is provided in the Spider, which must be confirmed by the operator. As soon as a slip sheet is required, the Spider takes it from the magazine and places it on the pallet stack. The slip sheet magazine is equipped with an empty signal, so that the Spider does not unnecessarily perform an action and/or completes the stack without slip sheets. Spiders are delivered worldwide. Approx 1000 in the Netherlands, Belgium and France. But also in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland and Brazil. The Spiders are widely applicable in the market, such as food, pharmaceuticals, paper, corrugated cardboard, oil, chemicals, plastics and paint. Patents have been granted on: 1. Gantry robot with integral stretch wrapper and integral pallet doubler. 2. Tunnel robot

    10. VB 315 - DRY CLAW VACUUM PUMP

VB 315 - DRY CLAW VACUUM PUMP

The VB 315 dry claw vacuum pump is the result of a thorough design study. This model is distinguished by its advanced design features, studied to optimize the performance of industrial processes. The operating cycle is based on the rotation of two claw-shaped rotors within a chamber. The rotational movement of the two elements occurs in opposite directions, without any contact and completely dry. The rotation of the claws creates vacuum by drawing air from the inlet port, compressing it into the chamber and discharging it to the exhaust port. Their movement is synchronized by gears, lubricated inside a gear box. The VB 315 claw technology offers significant operational advantages and redefines the standards of efficiency and reliability for industrial vacuum. Main characteristics - Minimal noise level: important noise reduction thanks to the design of the cast iron silencer and housing, internally coated with sound absorbing material - Low operating temperature of the pump thanks to advanced air-cooling system - Nearly maintenance free - Compact and robust design - Vacuum relief valve - Non-return valve - Possibility to install a vacuum sensor - Reduced vibrations Industries - Wood working industry - Packaging industry - Medical industry - Printing industry - Chemical & Pharmaceutical industry - Plastics industry - Environmental industry - Agricultural/Farming industry
