Susanne den Otter is Head of Events at Empack Netherlands. She has been working in the events industry for over 19 years and also has more than 10 years’ experience in the packaging industry. She has been in overall charge of Empack Netherlands since October 2025.
Together with Michael Nieuwesteeg of the NVC Packaging Centre, she has taken the initiative to establish the ‘Packaging Woman of the Netherlands’ award. This new initiative puts female professionals in the packaging sector in the spotlight and contributes to the long-term strengthening of the industry.
