Start2Pack
On Thursday, April 16, Empack, in collaboration with Pack4Food, organized an accessible basic course on packaging. Experts An Vermeulen, Peter Ragaert, and Brecht Van der Hoeven shared their knowledge with the participants.
During Start2Pack, participants received a solid substantive foundation to make well-considered and substantiated packaging choices, with attention to functionality, cost efficiency, and sustainability.

About Pack4Food
During the 2026 edition of Empack, Empack Netherlands and Pack4Food joined forces for the first time to further deepen knowledge about food packaging.
In addition to their presence in the Partner Village and the basic training course Start2Pack, Pack4Food could also be found on the stage of the Empack Theatre. Pack4Food delivered several sessions on leak tightness, plastic food packaging and recycling.
