X-ray Inspection Systems

The XRE-D pro 100 is Bizerba’s intelligent X-ray inspection system for packaged products, setting new standards in detection accuracy and application flexibility within industrial production environments.

With high-resolution X-ray technology, the system detects not only magnetic and non-magnetic metals but also glass, bones, rubber, PVC and other non-metallic contaminants. In addition, it enables advanced product defect detection including:

• Foreign body detection from Ø 0.6 mm (product-specific)
• Completeness and fill-level inspection
• Breakage and deformation detection
• Air pocket and clumping identification
• Weight deviation analysis (product-specific)

The XRE-D pro 100 processes up to approx. 300 packs per minute and is suitable for packaged products in trays, films or aluminum packaging up to 15 kg.

Integrated rejection systems, IP65/IP66 protection and a 15” industrial touch interface ensure maximum reliability, hygiene and ease of use.

While the system will not be physically displayed at the stand, we will demonstrate how X-ray inspection integrates seamlessly into a complete quality control line alongside checkweighers, metal detection, vision inspection and BRAIN2 software.
