Biobased materials are produced out of renewable resources, and therefore an excellent alternative for fossil plastic materials.
The characteristics of biobased materials are equal to regular raw materials. However the CO2 footprint of biobased materials is proven more favourable with a LCA.
Biobased materials are also 100% recyclable in de regular waste stream.
