PerfoTop B – Topseal barrier film for fresh food packaging
PET/PE topseal films with a barrier have been added to Perfon’s range. They provide an efficient airtight seal for food products in PE trays, extending shelf life, protecting against contamination, and improving suitability for transport and presentation.
Perfon expands its range with PerfoTop B topseal films with barrier, available in PET//PE-EVOH-PE variants (30 and 50 micron, with/without AntiFog and peelable).
The barrier layer regulates gases such as O₂, CO₂ and water vapour, extending shelf life. This is essential for products like meat, fish and poultry, and for MAP packaging. The film remains transparent for optimal product visibility.
The right barrier and sealing depend on the product, shelf-life requirements and PE tray type. PerfoTop B supports sustainable and safe packaging for fresh products.
