Load stability and sustainability are a challenge for final packaging

"One of the biggest challenges for end-of-line packaging machines lies in load stability, recycling, and reducing the carbon footprint," says Hubert Verheul. "Customers today are primarily asking how they can package their products with maximum stability while using minimal packaging materials, while simultaneously using sustainable materials. The quality of recycled packaging materials plays a particularly important role in this. If it's not sufficient, the pallet load can become unstable."
