How Nordgemüse improved its blueberry packaging together with Sismatec

With one automated line, Nordgemüse now produces more than double, with the same staff. The most advanced line, featuring the casepacker and IFCO erector, saves 6–8 FTEs per shift.

Nordgemüse was founded nearly 100 years ago and has grown into a specialist in blueberry production. As part of Gemüsering, the company supplies high-quality blueberries throughout the year. Over the past decade, Nordgemüse has become one of Germany’s largest producers, supported by the opening of a modern sorting and packing facility in Buchholz.
