Working at the event for the packaging industry: Empack is the leading trade fair for the packaging industry in the Netherlands: here, market leaders launch their innovations, decision-makers make new contacts, and the future of packaging is shaped. As a sales professional at Empack, you'll build a strong network within the packaging supply chain and directly influence the content and growth of the event. Key tasks and responsibilities: You'll build strong customer relationships with (potential) exhibitors, maintain regular contact, and contribute ideas on how they can use Empack most effectively. You'll monitor the market, identify new players in the packaging industry, and convince them of the power of our trade fairs. You'll advise and sell as a true consultant. You'll identify client needs, create appropriate proposals, and independently close deals that are valuable to both parties. You're on top of market trends and, together with marketing and the event team, translate insights into new themes, zones, and collaborations on the ground. This makes Empack more relevant every year. You'll ensure your clients are well-prepared for their participation, conduct post-event evaluations together, and actively work on rebooking for the next edition. You will utilize Salesforce (CRM system) effectively to keep your client files up-to-date, manage pipelines, and plan activities.
