About us
Van De Velde Systems – Schut produces packaging machines for processing cartons, sleeves and trays made of duplex cardboard, corrugated cardboard, feather-light corrugated paper and combinations of these materials. This has been our core business for more than 50 years. We once began as a licence holder for ‘Sprinter locking’, and since then Van De Velde Systems – Schut has developed to become a supplier of top load, end load and sleeving machines.
From these beginnings, we understand the importance of ensuring that the machine and packaging work together optimally. Our extensive knowledge of carton constructions and packaging materials is of great importance in achieving this. We seek the packaging solution not only in the machine but also in format parts or even changes to the construction of the packaging itself. This approach means we generally arrive at a practical result. In short: machines with a focus on the package.

Packaging systems
Over the years the variety of types of cardboard packaging has increased enormously. At Van de Velde Systems – Schut we have an excellent solution for this. Based on a standard concept we deliver cartoning machines, carton erectors, carton sealers and sleeving machines tailored to your specific wishes.
Tray- and carton erector
Top loading packaging lines consist of a carton or tray erector, a filling section and a carton sealer. The blanks are erected to form a box with attached lid. This results in a large fill opening that makes it easy to fill the carton, manually or automatically. Then the filled carton is conveyed to the carton sealer where it is sealed closed with hotmelt.
Endload cartoning machines
With end loading machines, products are pushed horizontally into the box. Products that can easily be pushed as a single unit are suitable for this. Van de Velde Systems – Schut offers simple and compact end loading machines with speeds from 35 boxes per minute to fully automatic machines with manual or automatic feeding and speeds of up to 120 boxes per minute.
Sleeve machines
The range of convenience products on offer is growing steadily and therefore too the demand for sleeving machines. A product can be fitted with a cardboard sleeve in either of two ways: the packaging is slid into the sleeve, or the sleeve is folded around the packaging and then sealed. Van De Velde Systems – Schut offers both types of system.

Solid cardboard packaging
