About us

For over 25 years both Innovation and collaboration have been SFA’s driving forces in order to deliver and constantly improve our customers’ injection molded packaging solutions. This, combined with close cooperation results in the creation of the most fabulous packaging products. We are very well-aware of the fact that plastic packaging, like every type of packaging, has an impact on the environment. That’s why we believe it is important to minimize our carbon footprint and reduce food waste. We work exclusively with mono-material, 100% recyclable, lightweight and thin packaging. It is our mission to make sustainable packaging the norm.

Products

Molded Fiber inlay

Inlays are an essential component of many food packaging applications, such as biscuits, chocolates and advent calendars. These inlays are often made from plastic, but with molded fiber, SFA Packaging offers a sustainable alternative. Tony’s Chocolonely’s advent calendar is a good example: both the inlay and the outer box are made from paper pulp and can therefore be recycled together in a single stream. This mono-material solution aligns fully with the European PPWR guidelines for 2030. Our cellulose-based packaging is safe for direct food contact, free from PFAS, and equipped with a moisture and grease barrier that helps keep products fresh for longer. Molded fiber is available in virgin or recycled pulp and provides a biodegradable alternative to plastic.

We proudly introduce a pioneering success recipe for circular PP packaging: the JOZO NextCycle IML™ salt shakers. This new product launch is a typical example of close collaboration between companies that all strive to deliver 100% recyclable and circular packaging solutions.

Mono-material jar and cap with "glass" barrier properties!

This 100% mono-material (PolyPropylene) and fully recyclable packaging for food applications, is a full blown replacement of a less sustainable glass packaging with similar barrier properties! The next step in minimizing footprint.

Rectangular yoghurt container: 33% more handling efficiency, 100% recyclable

A sustainable innovation for Bieze Food Group and Superunie: a lightweight rectangular yoghurt cup made of polypropylene (PP) that stacks 33% more efficiently per tray. Its smart shape and optimized wall thickness ensure reduced material use, lower CO₂ emissions and maximum strength. Produced in the Netherlands using locally sourced PP material. Fully recyclable and designed with the future regulations in mind.
