About us
Klöckner Pentaplast is the producer and supplier of packaging for the food industry. From no less than 21 production locations, spread over 14 countries, we produce sustainable packaging for the protection of food. Our packaging extends the shelf life of the food and reduces food waste. Our product range is very wide and consists largely of recyclable trays made from recycled PET. In addition, barrier and stretch films are an important pillar within our product range. We supply our packaging to leading retailers for the following sectors: meat, fruit & vegetables, bakery and food to go.

KP Infinity
Fully recyclable High quality plastic packaging that is easily and commercially recycled across the recycling process into a range of items, including other packaging, furniture and flooring. Microwaveable Allows food in the pack to be reheated while maintaining food safety and protection. Keeps food hotter for longer Exceptional insulating properties – keeping food hotter for longer by more than 10°C compared with alternative packaging solutions. It has a low heat transfer rate, retaining heat inside the packaging while keeping the outside cooler to the touch. Lightweight and durable Lightweight compared to alternative materials while maintaining durability with the added benefit of a lower carbon footprint. Water resistant As a plastic, this packaging is naturally waterproof with no need for extra coatings or additives to keep it stable and robust to maintain food quality. KP Kapture
Experience the timeless quality of black with KP Kapture™ Made from up to 100% post-consumer recycled PET, our premium black and coloured plastic is detected by today’s recycling and sorting technology so it can be turned back into protective packaging again and again, keeping food fresh and safe every time and creating a future with less waste. Detectable, carbon black-free KP Kapture™ trays are made from carbon-free pigment, allowing the material to be successfully detected in today’s sorting and recycling machines. Maximum food protection & safety The KP Kapture™ range can be sorted and also recycled back into food grade packaging with no compromise on functionality or safety. Fully circular KP Kapture™ is made from up to 100% post-consumer recycled PET, and is fully detectable and widely recycled by all current Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) and Plastic Recovery Facilities (PRFs), allowing us to completely close the loop on black and coloured plastics. Premium product KP Kapture™ completely closes the loop on coloured PET – giving retailers the sustainable option to once again showcase their products in the timeless quality of black and coloured premium packaging.
