About us
easy2cool GmbH is a company based in Munich that specialises in customised, passive cooling solutions and offers holistic cooling concepts for the protection of temperature-sensitive goods.
Since the company was founded in 2014, we have made it our mission to guarantee the protection of temperature-sensitive goods at any time and any place. We wanted to create a sustainable alternative in the field of shipping refrigeration that is in no way inferior to existing shipping systems in terms of performance and transport safety. Insulation systems for refrigerated shipping usually consisted of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and plastic. Due to the high energy requirement during production and the enormously problematic disposal, this creates an immense burden on the climate, water and soil. The solution: a new, sustainable insulation material that we have developed in a research project with the TU Dresden. The basic material is both simple and efficient - recycled waste paper!
Our product range includes solutions for end users as well as cooling systems for transport and logistics. Depending on the application, these are customised for our customers in terms of size and performance to ensure the best possible implementation.
To produce the sustainable insulation material paperfloc, waste paper is shredded in a special process and then processed into insulating mats or bags. Punching waste, which consists of 89% recycled material, from regional cardboard production is used to minimise the CO2 footprint.The production of paperfloc requires only a fraction of the energy and emits 95% less CO2 than comparable packaging made from EPS. paperfloc is 100% recyclable in paper waste.

Our sustainable paper insulating elements are the ideal alternative to conventional insulation materials. The paperfloc insulation pouches are made from recycled waste paper and can be completely disposed of with the paper waste after use. The special feature of the paperfloc eco pouches is their easy handling thanks to prefabricated insulating pouches in various sizes. This allows goods to be packed quickly, easily and securely and ensures a high level of insulation and shock absorption. Our insulating pouches are food-safe and can be used for both fresh and frozen goods.

Fulfillment Solutions
As a specialist in sustainable refrigeration solutions, we offer you comprehensive fulfillment services for temperature-sensitive products. With our proven paperfloc eco insulating packaging, we ensure that fresh and frozen goods arrive safely and optimally protected at their destination at all times. Our just-in-time production of packaging saves storage costs and unnecessary shipping routes for packaging materials. This reduces costs and ensures faster, more efficient deliveries. For the production of our sustainable insulating packaging, we reuse the packaging materials in which customer goods are delivered to us. Instead of disposing these, we process them further in the production of paperfloc eco. In this way, we reduce waste and foster a sustainable circular economy.
