Vision Inspection System Leaksecure
LeakSecure is an advanced vision inspection system for fully non-destructive in-line leak detection in CO₂-based MAP packaging. Designed for semi-rigid trays, it reliably detects leaks directly from the tray before defective products leave the production line. At Empack, LeakSecure is showcased in combination with LabelSecure, delivering comprehensive packaging and label inspection in real time. This configuration enables 100% inline verification of label presence, position, legibility and code accuracy, combined with immediate CO₂ leak detection to identify defective seal seams or micro-leaks. Non-conforming packages are automatically rejected with clear cause identification, enabling rapid process optimization. Vision & Quality Inspection Systems
Bizerba’s vision inspection systems deliver reliable quality control of packaging and labels within automated production lines. Checkweigher Systems
The CWE dynamic checkweigher systems are engineered for manufacturers who require 100% in-line weight control combined with legal compliance, minimal giveaway and maximum process reliability. The CWE verifies products in real time with certified accuracy from 5 g to 15 kg and supports high-speed production lines of up to 600 packs per minute. This prevents under- or overweight packages and reduces the risk of fines, product recalls and unnecessary product waste. Its modular design, adjustable conveyor height and compact footprint enable seamless integration into existing production lines. The intuitive 16” multi-touch interface with GT-softControl G2 ensures user-friendly operation and efficient process monitoring. Metal Detection Solutions
Bizerba’s metal detection solutions, including the iMD pro, ensure reliable detection of metallic contaminants within automated production lines. The system safely detects enclosed contaminants such as steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals like aluminum in packaged products. The iMD pro combines high detection sensitivity with maximum interference resistance through advanced Single Frequency (SF), Multi-Frequency (MF) and Multi-Simultaneous Frequency (MSF) technology. Intelligent sensitivity adjustment and a special EMC combi filter ensure stable performance even in demanding production environments. A particularly short metal-free zone and adjustable detector height optimize detection performance, while the hygienic IP65 design allows easy and thorough cleaning. Variable belt speed and flexible conveyor integration enable seamless adaptation to different products and line configurations. Industrial Weighing & Labeling Systems
Bizerba’s industrial weighing and labeling systems combine precise weight registration with automatic price and product labeling for medium- and high-volume production environments. The GLM-I series processes up to 170 packages per minute and supports multiple labeling modules within one line, enabling maximum flexibility and space efficiency. Its modular architecture allows seamless integration into various production concepts and packaging formats. Support for 1D and 2D barcodes, including GS1 Data Matrix and GS1 QR codes, ensures retail compliance and traceability. X-ray Inspection Systems
The XRE-D pro 100 is Bizerba’s intelligent X-ray inspection system for packaged products, setting new standards in detection accuracy and application flexibility within industrial production environments. With high-resolution X-ray technology, the system detects not only magnetic and non-magnetic metals but also glass, bones, rubber, PVC and other non-metallic contaminants. In addition, it enables advanced product defect detection including: • Foreign body detection from Ø 0.6 mm (product-specific) • Completeness and fill-level inspection • Breakage and deformation detection • Air pocket and clumping identification • Weight deviation analysis (product-specific) The XRE-D pro 100 processes up to approx. 300 packs per minute and is suitable for packaged products in trays, films or aluminum packaging up to 15 kg. Integrated rejection systems, IP65/IP66 protection and a 15” industrial touch interface ensure maximum reliability, hygiene and ease of use. Central Quality & Data Management Software
BRAIN2 is Bizerba’s modular industrial software platform designed to centralize, digitize and optimize production processes.
