Branding by Banding ™ , the ideal product presentation
A pack with an exciting and well-positioned band increases in-store visibility considerably. Branding by Banding is a concept of Bandall and Optimum Group Max Aarts. If you wish to distinguish yourself from your competitors with your packaging, Bandall has the solution for you. Because a band provides enough space for the printing of corporate logos, brand assurances and enhancing pictures or text. But consider also information relating to nutritional values, ingredients or country of origin details. But most of all, with Bandall banding machines you can be certain that the printing on the band will be positioned accurately in relation to the packaging. This is important, as a pack with an exciting and well-positioned band increases in-store visibility considerably. Shelf Ready and Retail Ready Packaging
Shelf Ready Packaging or Retail Ready Packaging offers one after the other improvement in efficiency. It begins with the huge cost savings in packaging material. This is achieved when Bandall banding equipment automatically places a paper or film band around your product. Whether or not it is stacked or packed in boxes. This immediately ensures stable, sealed packaging. This packaging technology also simplifies unpacking (from boxes) and the filling of shelves. What's more you can replace full outer boxes with open trays.
Eye-catching (promotional) packaging
Promotional packs are easy to create using banding. With the same ease we bundle two, four, six or more cans of fish or a bundle of packs of ham, soup or chocolate bars. A band in your own corporate style gives the promotional packaging even more consumer attraction and therefore a higher likelihood of being picked up in-store. More and more packages are being sent around the world from large distribution and packaging centres. The importance of tamper evident packaging and branding is also clearly increasing. As are cost savings and waste reduction. In all of these needs Bandall banding technology can play a role. One important function is as a carrier of information. Being available in a wide range of band widths (from 28 mm to 125 mm), there is ample print area for branding and vital information. For example, bar codes can be printed onto the band at the time of banding presenting an opportunity for traceability. Banding is available in a vast choice of qualities and thicknesses.

Printed banding versus printed boxes A printed band in combination with an unprinted box can be considerably more cost efficient than packaging with printed boxes. Banding is also more flexible in it’s use than printed boxes. Sustainable packaging in E-Commerce Our FSC-certified paper banding materials, combined with a PE-free hot-melt seal, create a fully biodegradable banding solution. Variable sizes and largest packages Bandall banding machines are the only banding machines worldwide that are able to band very large boxes, and packages. This is as a result of its unique vacuum system in the banding arch. Also random and variable sizes of packages can easily be accommodated by Bandall’s automatic technology (please ask for references).
Bandall's Print & Band Module
Unique to Bandall’s High Performance Print & Band model with integrated printer is the added capability for unlimited printing in any number of positions over the entire width and length of the 360° band. Immediate advantages: - Save on primary packaging, drastically reducing wastage of obsolete stocks - Print & band in one single step - High speed intelligent printing - A huge selection in pre-printed and blank paper and film - Recyclable and biodegradable banding - Single property materials For example, a small change to a product could mean that stocks of primary packaging are outdated and are wasted. This is now in the past with Bandall Print & Band.
Bandall banding systems, hi-tech bundling
Bandall is a Dutch developer, manufacturer and distributor of a complete range of banding equipment. From simple stand-alone machines to fully automatic solutions. You can add to the standard machine options such as external reel holders and printers. The fully automatic systems are modular in construction and can be used for a wide variety of applications. The machines have few mechanical parts and many standard components. Two features which lead directly to low operating costs. The machines are available in various arch sizes for the banding of very small to very large products. With paper and film bands of 28, 40, 48, 60, 75, 100, 125 and 150mm wide. The Bandall Multi-Width – just click-and-go
We are delighted to announce the introduction of this new optional function for use on our Bandall banding equipment. Increasing the flexibility already afforded by Bandall banding technology, you can now convert your machine to process multiple band widths in just a few moments. Simply click the Multi-Width option into place, replace the roll of banding material and you’re ready to go. The Multi-Width option is a set of replacement and supplementary parts that are simply clicked into place and can be ordered along with the banding unit, or later. It is available in combination with our new Bandall Stand Alone model, and initially for the most popular arch sizes. And, if required, in combination with other options such as Print & Band. Print & Band adds yet another dimension in flexibility, improving sustainability in your packaging process even further. A Multi-Width set is required for each new band width. A banding unit for 100 mm can be converted to process 75 mm and/or 50 mm wide banding on one machine. Or a unit for 75mm can convert to 60 mm, 50 mm and/or 30 mm.
